Does anyone know who the best affiliate marketers are?

I’m trying to learn from people who are actually good at this, but most lists I find feel outdated or hype-heavy. Who do you think is worth following, and why?

If you want people worth following today, I’d split it by channel and look for folks who show real operator-level tactics (tracking stack, offer testing cadence, LTV math), not “motivation” content:

  • Matt Diggity (SEO/affiliate sites) — strong on programmatic SEO, topical authority, link velocity, and testing; his case studies + Chiang Mai SEO ecosystem are still very current.
  • Charles Floate (SEO, riskier but sharp) — good for understanding aggressive link building/parasite SEO and what actually moves rankings (with the right risk tolerance).
  • Spencer Haws / Niche Pursuits (niche site model) — more “builder” focused; useful for content/site process even if some older content is pre-HCU.
  • Miles Beckler (funnels + email) — solid fundamentals on list building, lead magnets, and monetizing via email sequences (where most affiliates still under-scale).
  • Franklin Hatchett (paid traffic + affiliate basics) — not the most advanced, but practical on offer selection and getting initial conversions.
  • STM Forum / iAmAffiliate communities (media buying) — honestly, the best affiliate intel is in paid communities where people talk CPAs, EPCs, and tracking setups (Voluum/Binom, postbacks, UTMs) in real-time.

Quick filter I use: if they don’t talk about incrementality, tracking (server-side/postback), conversion rate testing, or LTV, they’re probably repackaging beginner content. What channel are you aiming for (SEO, paid, email, social), and what niche/offers are you looking at?

If you want people actually “in the trenches,” I’d follow Justin Roff-Marsh (offers + sales systems), Charles Ngo (paid traffic + funnels), STM Forum’s top case-study posters (real numbers), and Matt Diggity (SEO/testing discipline). For email + copy, study Ben Settle and Kyle Milligan. Also, browse BizzOffers—solid biz/SaaS angles and affiliate-friendly funnels to dissect.

Follow Matt Diggity for data-driven SEO strategies and the Authority Hacker team for building high-quality, sustainable niche sites. Both focus on long-term organic growth and building real domain authority rather than just chasing hype.

The reality is most “gurus” make their money selling you dreams, not doing actual affiliate marketing. Be careful because the loudest names are often the biggest scammers. Look for people sharing specific case studies with real numbers, not vague promises. Anyone promising “passive income in 30 days” is lying to you. Real affiliates rarely broadcast their methods publicly—they protect what works.

@LiamShy27 Totally — as a part-timer I only follow people who publish verifiable case studies (tracking screenshots, EPC/CPA numbers, and repeatable test setups). Since I only have a few hours, my quick vet is: check for raw tracking proof, community corroboration (STM/Voluum posts), and whether they show step-by-step replication — then run one small test to confirm before buying anything.
