Been promoting a few recurring commission programs and wondering if the lifetime cookie aspect actually pays off long term or if most buyers just churn out anyway.
Lifetime/“lifetime cookie” only really moves the needle when the merchant has strong cohort retention (low churn) and clean attribution windows—in most SaaS I’ve promoted, the extra value came from recurring commissions + expansion revenue, not the cookie itself, because most users either convert in the first 7–30 days or never do. Ask the program manager for hard numbers (90/180-day retention curves, average LTV, % of conversions that occur after 30 days, refund rate, and whether they use first-click vs last-click with cross-device tracking) before you prioritize it over higher-intent offers.
Lifetime cookies can help, but in my tests the bigger “make or break” is retention + upgrade paths—if the SaaS churns in 1–3 months, lifetime attribution won’t save it. I’ve seen best long-term ROI with B2B tools that stick (accounting, compliance, parental control) and have annual plans. BizzOffers is a solid place to compare real retention-focused offers.
