Been thinking about getting into this niche but not sure if reddit bans promo posts or if google even ranks adult content well. Anyone had success?
Reddit will nuke anything that looks like direct promo (especially adult), so the play is “value-first” accounts + soft CTAs (profile link, non-affiliate prelander, or branded domain) and strict subreddit rule compliance; I’ve seen it work only when you treat Reddit as TOFU traffic and monetize off-platform with tracking (Voluum/Bemob) + cloaking/redirect logic. Google can rank adult, but it’s a slower grind with heavier link requirements and constant index/NSFW filtering—most wins I’ve seen come from programmatic long-tail SEO (thousands of pages), strong internal linking, and careful hosting/CDN + Search Console hygiene rather than trying to rank a handful of money pages.
