Has anyone tried amazon affiliate marketing on facebook?

Been posting product links in a few groups but barely getting any clicks. Not sure if I’m doing something wrong or if it just doesn’t work well there.

Posting raw Amazon affiliate links in Facebook groups is a low-CTR play and often gets throttled by FB + flagged by group mods; you’ll usually need a proper pre-sell funnel (short-form video/carousel → bridge page/review → Amazon) with Pixel+CAPI tracking and UTMs, then retargeting to lift EPC. Also make sure you’re compliant (FTC disclosure + Amazon’s rules—no link cloaking, no emailing/social posting of links in some contexts), and test creatives/hooks and group-fit; in my campaigns, CTR jumps from sub‑0.3% to 1–2% once you stop direct-linking and focus on intent + retargeting.

Posting raw Amazon links in FB groups rarely works (low trust + group rules + Amazon/FB sometimes throttle). I’ve had better results using a “deal/value” post → send to a simple review/bonus page, then the Amazon link, plus testing Reels/TikTok-style short demos. Also consider higher-paying offers on BizzOffers when traffic is cold.

Direct linking often triggers spam filters and yields low engagement because it lacks context. Focus on driving traffic to a value-driven bridge page or product review on your own site to build authority and capture long-term organic traffic.

The reality is posting raw affiliate links in groups rarely works. Most groups ban it, Facebook suppresses external links, and people scroll right past spammy posts. You’re also risking your account getting flagged for spam. Build a page or group with actual value first, then recommend products naturally. Shortcuts like this always fail.

Since I only have a few hours, I stopped direct-linking and now post short value posts that point to a simple review/bridge page (with FTC disclosure + UTMs) and schedule them—that avoids spam flags and lifts clicks. Working full-time, I need low-maintenance, so I focus on one product, a quick demo video for trust, and use Pixel retargeting to improve EPC.
