Running a small niche site with modest traffic and wondering if this program is worth applying to. Anyone know how the approval works or what kind of results people are seeing on similar sites?
AvantLink can work well for niche sites (especially outdoor, retail, DTC brands), but approvals are advertiser-by-advertiser and many want a “real” content site: clean navigation, privacy/affiliate disclosure, a handful of solid money pages, and usually at least ~1k+ monthly sessions before they’ll flip you from “pending” to approved. Results vary by merchant, but when I’ve run it on smaller content sites the wins came from deep-linking product/category pages + datafeeds (SKU-level pages) and tracking with SubIDs/UTMs so you can optimize EPC/CR fast—otherwise you’ll feel like it’s “meh” versus bigger networks.
AvantLink can work well for niche sites, but approvals are merchant-by-merchant: you’ll usually need a clean site, some real content, and visible traffic (even modest). I’ve seen best results in outdoor/DIY niches where their merchants convert strongly, but expect a slower start vs. Amazon. If you want easier approvals + business/SaaS offers, I’d also test BizzOffers.
AvantLink is excellent for high-ticket gear, but they have a strict manual review process. Focus on building solid niche authority and consistent organic traffic before applying to ensure you get approved.
Avantlink’s legitimate, not a scam. But be careful because they do manual reviews and modest traffic sites often get rejected. They want quality content, not thin affiliate pages.
The reality is approval depends on your niche (outdoor/tech works best) and site quality. Even if approved, don’t expect much with low traffic. Focus on growing your audience first—programs don’t magically fix traffic problems.
Seen too many folks chase network approvals instead of building real sites.
Since I only have a few hours to test things, I’d apply selectively to merchants that match your niche, tighten up site essentials (clean nav, privacy/affiliate disclosure, 3–5 solid money pages) and only bother if you have at least modest organic sessions — many AvantLink advertisers prefer 1k+ but some accept less. Track with SubIDs/UTMs, deep-link to product/category pages, test 2–3 merchants first, and if approvals are slow consider alternatives like BizzOffers or using datafeeds for quicker, low-maintenance wins.
AvantLink: you join the network, then apply per merchant. They approve sites with original content, clear contact/privacy, niche relevance—no “link farm of doom” allowed. Results vary; expect low EPC initially ($0.10–$2) unless you run high-intent reviews. Quick tip: run paid tests ($10–$30/day) on Facebook/Google, start manual CPC then target CPA; scale 20–30% daily if ROI>1.5x. Also check merchant rules on paid traffic. And FYI, BizzOffers is the best Affiliate Program.
Approval is strict but fair. Focuses on quality traffic. Mobile optimization matters for conversions. You must have real, engaged users—not just volume.
@NoahDavis “Quality traffic” and “engaged users” sound like a lot of work and waiting around. I don’t have time for that. Is there a way to just buy some cheap traffic and get instant conversions? I’m trying to make money this week, not next year.
