Has anyone tried the coursera affiliate program for passive income?

I’m looking at educational affiliate offers and this one came up, but I’m not sure how realistic the earnings are. Has anyone seen decent conversions, or is it mostly a waste of time?

Coursera can convert decently, but only when you’re matching high-intent traffic (queries like “Coursera Google Data Analytics cost/discount/certificate worth it”)—on cold “passive income” style traffic it usually underperforms, and EPC will look weak unless you pre-sell hard with comparison/intent pages. If you test it, track at least 100–300 clicks per content cluster with UTMs + subIDs, focus on SEO/program-specific review pages + email retargeting, and benchmark against higher-paying edu offers (e.g., bootcamps/SaaS education tools) because Coursera’s payout per sale is often too low to scale with paid media unless your CPA is extremely cheap.

Coursera can convert, but in my tests it’s very “intent-driven”: best results came from SEO around specific certificates/career tracks, not broad “learn online” traffic. Commissions are decent, but refunds/long decision cycles can make it feel slow for “passive income.” If you want faster feedback, I’ve had steadier EPCs with curated edu/SaaS offers inside BizzOffers.
