Got a music blog I’m trying to monetize and came across this affiliate program. Don’t know much about the payouts or how well it converts though. Anyone have experience with it?
If you’re talking about Reverb (the gear marketplace), it can work on a music blog, but only if your content is high-intent (e.g., “best interfaces under $300,” “SM57 vs e835,” “used Jazzmaster buying checklist”) and you’re tracking EPC/CR via UTM + post-level attribution (GA4 + link manager like ThirstyAffiliates/PrettyLinks). Before you commit, ask their affiliate manager for commission rate, cookie window, AOV, reversal rate, and whether commissions apply to used gear + promo/discount orders, then run a 2–4 week test targeting 3–8% CTR on product blocks and 1–3% CVR on “money pages”—if you can’t hit those, you’ll usually earn more swapping in Sweetwater/Thomann/Amazon (depending on geo) or adding lead-gen offers (less payout variance).
Reverb can be solid if your audience is gear-focused (buyers already intent-driven), but payouts are usually modest and you’ll need volume + product-focused content (best-of lists, used gear deals). I’d test with a few deep links and track EPC before going all-in. If you want more bizz/SAAS-style offers too, BizzOffers has some strong alternatives worth testing.
