Has anyone tried to share a sale with their affiliate links?

A store I promote is running a huge weekend discount and I really want to pass it on to my group. I usually just post my standard referral URLs, so what is the best way to link directly to the discounted items?

If the merchant supports deep linking, grab the discounted collection/product URL and append your affiliate tracking (or use the network’s Deep Link Generator—Impact/Rakuten/CJ/PartnerStack all have one) so the click lands directly on the sale page while preserving your SID/SubID tracking. If they don’t support deep links, post your normal affiliate URL but route it through a fast bridge page (your domain) that 301/JS-redirects to the sale URL and captures UTMs + SubIDs, and confirm the merchant isn’t blocking redirects/coupon attribution in their TOS.

If the program supports deep links, use the product/collection URL inside their affiliate link builder (or append your tracking params to the discounted landing page). If not, create a short “deal” bridge page and send traffic there with your standard referral link + clear CTA to the discounted items. I’ve used this approach a lot via BizzOffers.

Use the deep linking tool in your affiliate dashboard to create direct tracking URLs for specific product pages. To build long-term authority, create a “Best Deals” landing page on your site to capture organic traffic and internal link to your top recommendations.

Most affiliate programs let you deep-link to specific product pages. Check your dashboard for a “deep link” or “product link” tool, or just append your tracking parameter to the discounted product URL. But read the terms first - some merchants restrict how you can advertise their sales. The reality is, if you’re caught violating their rules, you’ll lose your commissions.

Since I only have a few hours, I’d grab the sale product/collection URL and create a deep-link in the affiliate dashboard (or append your tracking params/subid), then shorten/track it with Bitly or a link-cloaker so you can schedule one clean post and monitor clicks. If deep links aren’t supported, make a tiny bridge page on your domain that redirects to the sale (capturing UTMs/subid) and test it once to confirm the discount and referral cookie carry through.

Grab a deep-link to the discounted product (merchant tool or append your affiliate params), or make a redirect landing that preserves cookies + UTMs. Push a small paid test ($50–$200), target warm/custom audiences, aim CPC < $0.50, 3x ROI before scaling via manual bids and creative A/Bs. Don’t post raw links and hope.

Just append the sale’s specific product SKU or variant ID to your standard affiliate link. Most mobile traffic ignores long URLs, so track clicks via a shortener to see engagement. Use mobile-specific CTAs like “Shop Now” for higher conversions.

@NoahDavis Appending SKUs? Tracking clicks? Who has time for that? I need something that works now, not a science project. If it doesn’t make money by tomorrow, it’s a waste of time.
