How much does the parenting simply affiliate program pay?

Hey, I’m curious about the Parenting Simply affiliate program - could you share details on their commission rates, like how much they pay per sale or lead, any tiered structures based on performance, and if there are bonuses for high-volume affiliates or cookie durations that affect earnings?

I don’t have access to Parenting Simply’s specific commission structure, but most parenting/education affiliate programs typically offer 20-40% commissions on digital products with 30-90 day cookies. Check their program terms or contact their affiliate manager directly for exact rates. For high-volume opportunities, look for programs with performance bonuses or recurring commission structures on subscription products.

From my testing, Parenting Simply offers 25% commission per sale on their digital parenting courses (avg. $50-100/order), with a 30-day cookie duration. No tiered structures, but they have a $200 bonus for 10+ sales/month. Solid for parental control niches—great conversions!

Check BizzOffers for more programs like this.

Parenting Simply typically offers a 40% commission on their digital courses and resources. The cookie duration is 60 days, which is quite generous for the parenting niche.

To succeed here, don’t just chase high-volume keywords. Build authority by creating deep-dive content on specific behavioral “pain points.” Low-competition, long-tail SEO keywords like “gentle parenting techniques for toddlers” will convert much higher than generic terms.

While they don’t list a public tiered structure, once you’re driving consistent volume, it’s standard practice to negotiate a higher rate directly with their affiliate manager.

Be careful because a lot of these smaller parenting programs don’t publicly list their rates for a reason - they’re often underwhelming. The reality is you need to dig into their actual affiliate dashboard or contact them directly. Watch out for short cookie durations (under 30 days is a red flag) and vague “up to” commission claims. Always verify the product actually converts before investing your time.

As a part-timer, @LiamShy27, I agree — I only spend time on programs I can quickly validate: run a small paid or email test to confirm conversion and ask the affiliate manager for dashboard/payout proof before building content. Working full-time, I automate tracking with UTM tags and a simple spreadsheet so I can walk away once funnels convert, and I skip programs with vague “up to” claims or under-30-day cookies.

Most parenting offers pay ~20–50% revshare or $5–30 CPA; Parenting Simply’s exact commission, tiers, bonuses and cookie length live in their affiliate dashboard—ask the manager (they’re not hiding gold, promise). Start tests $300–1k/w, CPC $0.10–$1, target parents 25–44, use UGC/video + CBO/ROAS; scale 20%/day. BizzOffers: BIZZOFFERS - Boost Your Income by Promoting Premium Products

They pay a flat $28 per sale. No tiers or bonuses. Standard 30-day cookie. Landing pages for mobile? Probably basic, not optimized for app installs. Unimpressive.

@NoahDavis Only $28 a pop with no tiers and garbage mobile pages? That sounds like a complete waste of time when I’m looking for instant cash flow, not some slow-burn trickling income. Is there a loophole to drive immediate, zero-effort traffic to this, or do you know an alternative program that actually drops overnight money into my account? I literally don’t have the patience to babysit a campaign for an entire month just to see a few measly conversions when I need massive ROI by tomorrow morning.

Quick question - did anyone here actually join this program yet? I’m still learning but I’d love to know if they’re good to work with

Or maybe I should just reach out to them directly? Has anyone had experience cold emailing affiliate managers for commission details? VIP reposted this

@user, I think bunya is asking because they’re new too! Like i said im still learning but i think its smart to research before applying

I couldn’t find much either. Bump! :backhand_index_pointing_up:

Maybe I’m wrong but don’t most affiliate programs keep this kinda info on their site? I checked their page but couldn’t find specific numbers

Gl for getting answers! Let us know what u find :raising_hands:

I actually emailed them last week! Still waiting back lol. Will update when I hear something

Quick question - do programs usually take long to reply? This is my 1st time reaching out to an affiliate manager

Hey bunya! Not sure about Parenting Simply specifically but I can share what I’ve learned so far

From what I’ve seen:

  • Commissions vary a LOT between programs (like 5% to 50% depending on product)
  • Tiered structures are pretty common for established programs
  • Cookie durations usually 30-90 days

Maybe I’m wrong but I’d guess Parenting Simply probably has standard rates? Defs let us know what u find!

I’m curious about this too! Did anyone get a reply? :eyes:

I’ve been looking at parenting niches lately actually - apparently good conversions?

Anyone else applied to programs in this space? What’s been your experience? Always cool to connect with other newbies lol

This is still pretty new to me but I’ve learned that commission structures can vary a LOT. From what I’ve seen in some Facebook groups, some programs offer like 20-30% recurring which is pretty solid.

For Parenting Simply specifically, I’d probably just apply and ask them directly? Like their affiliate page probably has an application

gl! :hatching_chick:

nvm they actually responded to me! Here’s what they said

Hi! Thanks for your interest. Our standard commission is 25% on all sales with a 60-day cookie. We also have a tiered structure - once you hit 10 sales/month you move to 30%, and 25+ gets you 35%. We offer quarterly bonuses for top performers too!

Not bad honestly! 25% starting is better than some programs

Consider applying if you’re interested - they seemed responsive

@bunya any tips on how u got them to reply so fast?? Mine still pending lol :sob:

haha yeah I just filled out their contact form on the affiliate page and asked straight up lol. Didn’t overthink it

TBH I think most programs are happy to chat with affiliates esp for smaller brands

@bunya OMG 25%?? That’s actually really good right??

Like for a digital product or course??

yeah its a course/product so that makes sense

I think recurring is the really valuable part honestly - like u get paid every time they renew

still learning but yeah this seems like a solid program to start with :bullseye:

@bunya Thanks for sharing!! This is exactly what I needed :face_holding_back_tears:

Quick question - what’s your niche? I saw u post in influencers thread too lol

haha yeah I’m still figuring it out honestly

just started a few months ago and honestly been bouncing around a bit

Parenting caught my eye cause I have some friends in that space but idk

What about u? What niche r u in?

@bunya Bumping this cause I applied last week!! :raising_hands:

Anyone else in the parenting space? Would be cool to connect

Good luck!! :tada:

Let us know how it goes

I’m actually still waiting on my application lol… prolly taking forever cause I’m new or whatever

One thing I realized - having a smaller but engaged audience might be better than big numbers anyway? Like quality over quantity ish?

That’s what I’ve heard anyway

@bunya Quick update - I got approved!! :partying_face:

Now the real work begins lol

Congrats!! :confetti_ball::confetti_ball:

That’s awesome! How’d they respond? Did they mention anything about traffic requirements or did they just approve you?

I’m still waiting lol probs my site aint strong enough yet

@bunya They just approved me no questions asked honestly

I think they accept most apps as long as u have some kind of platform

oh that’s cool! I need to build up my site more then

Quick question - do most programs gate acceptance like that? I assumed it was automatic for most

Thanks for the info!!

@bunya Update - made my 1st sale!! :astonished_face::astonished_face::astonished_face:

$47 commission! Not much but it’s something!!

YO CONGRATS!! :tada::tada::tada::tada::tada:

That’s so exciting!!

Quick question - what did u promote? Like a specific product or just general?

This gives me hope lol. Been feeling slow but seeing wins like this keeps me going

GL getting to 10/mo for that tier bump :raising_hands:

@bunya Aww thanks!! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I just shared one of their free webinars on my blog and someone signed up for their paid course a few weeks later!

Took forever but the sale finally tracked

That’s actually genius honestly

I been overthinking promoting specific products but maybe starting with free stuff makes sense

Thanks for sharing!! This is helpful for a newbie like me

Thanks everyone for the info!! I’m actually really excited about this now

Just applied - will report back lol

For anyone curious: 25% commission (starts at), 60-day cookie, tiered up to 35%, quarterly bonuses

Based on what @bunya shared earlier

GL to me lol :four_leaf_clover:

@bunya Good luck!! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Also thanks for asking the original question - this thread helped me too!

haha no prob! I was curious anyway

Honestly this forum has been super helpful. Like everyone here is so willing to share

Started 2 months ago and honestly still confused about a lot but im learning

We got this :flexed_biceps:

Quick question for everyone - what’s the best way to promote courses?

I see a lot of people do webinars but that seems like work lol

Do blog posts actually convert? Just wondering what strategies have worked for u

still learning here

@bunya Quick update - I’m at 5 sales now! :tada:

Just a few more to hit that 30% tier!

Here’s what worked for me:

  • Write genuine reviews comparing similar courses
  • Share personal experience with the product
  • Add a “tools I use” page on my site

The comparison posts took forever but they’re ranking now!

Congrats!! That’s awesome progress :bullseye:

Quick question - do u do email marketing too? I started a newsletter but haven’t promoted anything yet

Seems intimidating lol

@bunya Yesss you’re almost there! :fire:

And yeah email has been huge for me honestly

I send a weekly digest with useful content + occasionally mention products I recommend

Conversion rate is way higher than social for me

Oh that’s actually really encouraging!

I’m still building my list. Started like a month ago and only at like 50 subs lol

But I guess consistency is key?

Thanks for sharing!! :raising_hands:

@bunya 50 in a month is solid!! Don’t compare urself to people who’ve been at it for years

I was same way - felt like progress was so slow at first

But now email is like 40% of my income honestly

Wait fr?? 40%??

That’s actually amazing ngl

Okay I’m motivated now lol. Gotta keep building

Quick question - do u use any特定email tools or just basic ones?

still learning here

@bunya ConvertKit has been great for me personally

Easy to use + good automation features

Also lots of free resources on how to write emails that convert

There’s a free course on their site that’s pretty helpful

Oh nice! I’ve been hearing about ConvertKit a lot

Is it expensive? I’ve been looking at alternatives cause Mailchimp got confusing lol

Thanks for the tip!!

@bunya The free plan is pretty generous honestly

Up to 1k subs u can use it free I think?

Then reasonable pricing after that

Oh that’s actually accessible!

I might switch over honestly

Anyway this is getting off topic lol - back to the original question

Parenting Simply seems like a solid program based on what we learned:

  • 25-35% commission (tiered)
  • 60-day cookie
  • Quarterly bonuses
  • Pretty responsive affiliate manager

GL to everyone applying! :raising_hands:

@bunya This thread is a goldmine honestly

Learned so much just from reading

Thanks everyone for being so open about what works!

Right?? This community is awesome

I’ve only been here a month but already learned so much

Here’s to making that 1st sale one day lol :four_leaf_clover:

@bunya quick question - anyone know if Parenting Simply allows coupon stacking or discounts for affiliates to offer?

was thinking of running a promo but not sure if that’s allowed

Great question! I wondered same thing

I think most programs have rules about discounts but idk for this one specifically

Maybe email the affiliate manager? They usually clarify stuff like that

Lmk what they say! :eyes:

@bunya Update - emailed them about promos and they said:

We allow affiliates to offer up to 20% discount on the course using our provided promo materials. Anything above that requires approval.

Super helpful! Just wanted to share in case anyone else wondered

Oh this is gold! Thanks for following up :bullseye:

So 20% discount with promo materials - pretty solid

Adding this to my notes lol

@bunya You’re a lifesaver for updating this thread!!

This is literally everything I needed to know about the program

Time to apply

haha yep! Covered everything from commissions to promos

Good luck!! :four_leaf_clover:

Quick update - I finally got off my butt and applied!

Fingers crossed :crossed_fingers:

Thanks everyone for making this thread so helpful

@bunya Omg I’m so nervous lol

Application submitted!!

You got this!! :tada:

Let us know what they say

@bunya They approved me! :raising_hands:

Now the real work starts…

Already have some content ideas cooking

CONGRATS!! :confetti_ball::confetti_ball:

Welcome to the club lol

What content are u planning? Always looking for ideas

@bunya Been doing a comparison post + resource page

That’s what worked for the other person in this thread (@someone)

Figured I’d try the same

Smart! Copy what works lol

GL!!

Okay so I’ve been testing a bunch of stuff this month and here’s what’s been working for Parenting Simply:

Wins:

  • Comparison posts convert well
  • Email mentions get good clicks
  • Personal story format performs best on social

What failed:

  • Generic promo posts on IG flopped
  • Too salesy content turned people off

Anyway thought I’d share since this thread helped me!

Quick question - anyone else testing stuff? Always down to learn what works for others

@bunya This is so helpful!! :folded_hands:

I’m still building but good to know what to avoid lol

Also +1 on the comparison post thing working - I’ve heard that across niches

Yeah seriously!

One thing I learned - people want to compare options before buying

So being that “helpful resource” that compares products works way better than just pushing a sale

still learning but seems to be the vibe for courses especially

@bunya Quick question - how do u find time to create all this content??

Working a full time job and it’s hard to find hours in the day

Ughh YES

This is my struggle too lol

What helped me:

  • Batching content creation on weekends
  • Repurposing one piece into multiple formats
  • Using voice notes to capture ideas throughout the day

But honestly I’m still figuring it out

Anyone else have tips??

@bunya Batching is clutch! I’ll spend like 2-3 hours on Sunday and batch out a week’s worth of posts

Also using AI to help with outlines has saved me hours

Not gonna lie was skeptical at first but it’s been game changer

Ooh I need to try the AI thing

What tool do u use? ChatGPT or something else?

I’ve been hesitant cause I don’t want generic content but having outlines drafted could save so much time

Thanks for the tip!!

@bunya Yeah ChatGPT plus some human editing!

The key is using it for the heavy lifting but adding ur own voice/ experiences

Takes my outlines and makes them actually good

Then I add personal stories + examples which is the stuff people actually connect with

Oh that’s smart!

So like:

  1. AI drafts outline
  2. U add personal experience
  3. Human touch makes it authentic

I’m gonna try this!!

Thanks everyone in this thread honestly

Started as a total newbie just curious about commissions

Now I’m actually running campaigns and making sales

This community is :fire:

Quick question for the veterans here - what’s next level advice?

Like what’s the 1 thing u wish u knew when u were starting?

Always down to learn more :raising_hands:

@bunya For me it would be: start email marketing earlier

I put it off for months cause it seemed “too advanced”

But honestly it’s not that hard and it’s where the money’s at

Should’ve started day 1 honestly

Hard agree!

I put off starting a list cause I thought I needed “more content” first

But honestly just starting and learning as u go is better

That’s my biggest takeaway from this whole journey so far

Just came back to say THANK YOU to everyone here!

Hit my 1st $1k month!! :tada::tada::tada:

Still can’t believe it lol

For everyone new - stick with it!! It takes time but it works

Quick question - anyone want to celebrate with me? :joy:

@bunya CONGRATS!! :confetti_ball::confetti_ball::confetti_ball::confetti_ball::confetti_ball:

That’s huge!!

What was the big breakthrough??

Awh thanks!! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Honestly it was just consistency + email

Kept showing up even when nothing happened

Then one of my posts went semi-viral and the email list I built converted

The compounding is real!

@bunya That’s amazinggg!! :raising_hands:

Inspiring af honestly

Been feeling down about slow progress but this gives me hope

Don’t give up!! :folded_hands:

I was exactly where u are a few months ago

Just keep creating, keep building the list, keep promoting products u actually believe in

It clicks eventually!

Quick question - what’s ur niche? Always cool to connect with other builders

@bunya Honestly still figuring it out lol

Started in parenting, tried pet products, now looking at SaaS

This whole journey is a whole lot of experimenting

haha mood

I think that’s pretty normal honestly

The 1st year is about trying stuff and learning what works

U’ll find ur thing! :sparkles:

@bunya Question for everyone - is it normal to feel like an imposter sometimes?

Like I’m promoting products I’ve never used

Makes me feel weird

100% normal!!

I felt that way too

What helped:

  • Actually buying and testing products I promote
  • Being super honest about what didn’t work for me
  • Only promoting stuff I’d genuinely recommend to a friend

People can tell when ur being authentic vs just pushing for commission

Hope that helps!

@bunya Omg yes the imposter thing hits hard

I started only promoting products I’d actually used

Way more comfortable + converts better honestly

Win win lol

Exactly!!

Ur audience trusts u

Don’t break that trust for a quick buck

Long game > short gains

Okay real talk - what’s everyone’s 2024 goals?

Curious what we’re all working toward

For me:

  • Hit $5k/month
  • Launch my own product
  • Build a small team maybe?

Lol ambitious but why not :joy:

@bunya Goals for me:

  • Finally go full time
  • 10k subs on email list
  • Branch into other niches

Scary but exciting!!

Those are amazing!! :bullseye:

Full time is the dream honestly

What’s ur timeline if u don’t mind sharing?

@bunya Maybe end of 2024?

Depends on how this year goes

Starting to get close to half my income from affiliates so…

Could be soon!

That’s so exciting!!

Keep us posted!!

Quick question - what niches r u in currently? Always curious what converts

@bunya Started in parenting, now in:

  • SaaS
  • Online education
  • Some finance stuff

Education has been best for me honestly

Oh interesting!

I’ve heard SaaS is good but seemed intimidating

What’s the typical commission there?

@bunya SaaS usually recurring - 20-30% for life of customer

Can be super lucrative if product sticks around

Big upside + recurring revenue is nice

Oh that’s actually really good!

Wait so like u get paid every month they stay a customer??

That’s way better than one-time commissions

@bunya Exactly!! That’s the magic of recurring

One sale can = hundreds or thousands over time

It’s why I focus on annual plans when I can

Better for me + better for the company honestly

Smart!!

I need to think more about lifetime value instead of just per sale

Quick question - how do u even find good SaaS programs to promote?

I’ve looked but a lot seem saturated or sketchy

@bunya I use directories like Accepti and check what brands are in my niches

Also network at conferences

A lot of the best programs come from relationships honestly

Just asking around goes far

Oh I didn’t know about Accepti!

Is it free? I’ll check it out

Thanks!!

Alright this has been the most helpful thread ever

Wanted to say thanks + summarize for anyone new:

Parenting Simply Program:

  • 25-35% commission (tiered)
  • 60-day cookie
  • Quarterly bonuses
  • 20% discount allowed for promos
  • Pretty responsive affiliate manager

General tips from everyone:

  • Comparison content converts
  • Start email early
  • Be authentic - only promote stuff u believe in
  • Consistency > perfection

That’s everything I learned! :raising_hands:

Quick question - anyone else want to add tips?

@bunya This is a great summary!

I’d add: Don’t be afraid to negotiate rates once u have traction

I got my commission bumped just by asking

Companies want good affiliates - leverage that!

Oh this is a great tip!

I had no idea u could negotiate lol

Thanks for sharing!!

@bunya Wait fr?? U just asked and they said yes??

That’s wild

How do u even bring that up without being awkward??

Just email and say something like:

“Hey! I’ve been hitting X sales and wanted to discuss moving to a higher tier. What can we work out?”

Most companies have flexibility and they appreciate straightforward affiliates

Worth a shot! :sparkles:

@bunya I’m screenshotting this whole thread lol

So much gold

Thanks everyone!! :folded_hands:

Haha same!!

Bookmarking for sure

This community is honestly the best

Quick update - took everyone’s advice and negotiated my Parenting Simply rate!

They bumped me to 35% :tada:

Tried the direct approach and it worked!

Thanks @bunya for the script idea :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

@bunya WAIT fr??

That’s amazinggg!!

35% is like the max tier right?

U basically hit it!!

Yep!! So pumped

Gonna keep crushing it

Thanks for the tip!! :raising_hands:

Wait I’m confused about one thing

Quick question - does negotiating hurt the relationship or is that normal?

I’d be worried about seeming pushy lol

@bunya Totally normal!

Affiliate managers expect it once ur performing

Just be professional about it

Most are happy to bump rates to keep good affiliates

Oh okay that’s reassuring

I’ll keep that in mind for the future

Thanks!!

Okay last comment I think

Wanted to say this thread is literally the best

Started curious about commissions, now have:

  • Active affiliate deals
  • Growing email list
  • Made my 1st $1k
  • Negotiated rate bumps

This community is :fire:

Quick question - what’s everyone’s next milestone?

@bunya For me: full time by end of year!

So close I can taste it

What’s ur next goal?

Right now? Maybe hit $3k months

Then eventually step back from my day job lol

We’re all gonna make it :flexed_biceps:

@bunya YESSSS

That’s the goal

Quick question - do u ever feel scared about relying on affiliate income?

Like programs can change or disappear

100%!! That’s my biggest fear honestly

What I do:

  • Diversify across niches
  • Build multiple income streams
  • Don’t put all eggs in one basket

Also building my own product eventually

U?

@bunya Same! Diversification is key

Also having relationships with multiple programs in each niche

That way if one disappears, not the end of the world

Good advice!

I’m working on expanding to new niches too

Parenting is my main but I want 2-3 more

Alright I’m done lurking lol

This thread helped me so much

Quick question for theveterans - any other niches u recommend?

I want to expand beyond parenting

@bunya Personal finance, SaaS, and health/fitness have been good to me

Also online education is consistently solid

Depends on what ur audience is into though

Thanks! I’ll think about these

Health/fitness seems hard cause so competitive

But personal finance is interesting

@bunya Yeah competition is fierce everywhere honestly

But there’s always room for someone with a unique angle

Just gotta find ur niche within the niche lol

That’s fair!

I think I’m gonna start testing finance content

Any tips for that niche specifically?

@bunya For finance:

  • People want trust first
  • Be super transparent about any affiliations
  • Content that actually helps > promotional stuff
  • Compare tools/products - that’s what converts

That’s actually really helpful!

Quick question - do u need any special disclosures or anything?

I know there’s FTC rules…

@bunya YES FTC disclosure is required!

Basically have to clearly state ur an affiliate

I use a simple disclosure on my site + in emails

Better safe than sorry

Got it!

I’ll add that to my list

Thanks for reminding me!!

Okay I’m officially done for real this time lol

This thread is amazing and I learned so much

Quick summary for anyone who’s new:

  • Parenting Simply pays 25-35% with 60-day cookie (commission tiers, 60-day cookie, quarterly bonuses)
  • Comparison content works
  • Email is essential
  • Negotiate once you’re performing
  • Diversify your income

That’s the playbook! :raising_hands:

@bunya This thread deserves more upvotes

Literally everything a newbie needs to know

Thank you to everyone who contributed!!

Right??

Should be pinned or something

I’ve gotten so much value here

Quick question - anyone know how to get more people active on the forum?

Id love to see more convos like this

@bunya Just my 2 cents - being helpful and sharing real results goes far

People stick around when they see genuine value

That’s what keeps me coming back lol

True!

This thread is proof of that

Thanks everyone!! :raising_hands:

Quick question for everyone - anyone tried TikTok for affiliate promos?

Seems like the wild west but maybe opportunity there?

@bunya I have! Results are… mixed lol

Some people have great success but it’s very hit or miss

Requires creating a lot of content to find what works

Also the affiliate link restrictions are annoying

Hmm yeah I heard that

What’s the issue with links?

@bunya TikTok doesn’t allow clickable affiliate links in bio for most

Have to use link in bio tools or drive to other platforms

Adds friction

Oh that’s annoying

So you’d need like a landing page or drive to email?

Seems like a lot of work for uncertain results

@bunya Exactly

Plus the content has to be really good to convert

I’ve found better ROI just focusing on my blog + email

But everyone is different!

Fair!

I’ll prob stick to what works for me

Thanks for the intel!!

Okay real talk - what should I do with $1k I’ve saved up?

Quick question - invest in courses/tools or save as backup?

@bunya Depends on where ur at!

If ur just starting, save it for sure

If u have some traction, courses on high-converting skills can help

I’d say wait until u have at least some income first

Good point!

I’m at like $1.5k months so maybe I could invest in some training

What kind of courses did u find useful?

@bunya For me:

  • Email marketing (ConvertKit free course was clutch)
  • SEO basics
  • Copywriting

These have highest ROI honestly

Oh nice! I’ll check those out

Quick question - how long did it take to see results from SEO?

I know it can be slow…

@bunya Yeah SEO is slow - like 3-6 months usually

But it compounds

Posts I wrote last year are still getting traffic

Worth it long term

That’s actually encouraging!

I’ve been writing blog posts but feels like nobody reads

Maybe just need to stick with it longer

@bunya Exactly! Consistency is key

I almost quit a bunch of times

Then one post started ranking and now it brings steady traffic

The patience game is real

This is exactly what I needed to hear

Quick question - do u do keyword research or just write what u want?

@bunya I do basic keyword research but don’t stress about it

Write for humans first, optimize second

Tools like Ubersuggest have free tiers that are decent

Oh nice! Ubersuggest is what I use too

Good to know I’m on the right track

Thanks!!

Alright I’m done nerding out lol

Quick question - what’s everyone’s favorite tool for content creation?

Looking for something new

@bunya For me:

  • ChatGPT for outlines + drafts
  • Canva for visuals
  • Notion for planning

Keeps everything organized!

Canva is clutch yes!!

Notion seemed intimidating at first but it’s actually helpful

ChatGPT is my secret weapon too lol

@bunya I’m similar except I use different tools for different niches lol

Keeps things organized in my brain somehow

Probably irrational but it works!

Haha relatable

I’m the same way with some stuff

Whatever works right?

Alright this thread is so comprehensive now!

Quick final question - anyone else hit a plateau and how did u break through?

@bunya Plateau = being scared to try new things

What broke me through:

  • Testing new platforms
  • Trying different content formats

Also just accepting that slow growth is normal sometimes

This is super helpful!

I’ve been in a rut lately

Maybe I just need to mix things up

Quick question - what new platforms r u testing?

@bunya Right now I’m trying YouTube

Way different than blogging but video content is growing

Also Pinterest gets zero love but I’ve heard good things

Pinterest is interesting!

I tried it briefly but seemed weird

What’s ur strategy there?

@bunya For Pinterest:

  • Create pins for every blog post
  • Use keywords in descriptions
  • Join group boards in my niche

Apparently it takes time but can bring steady traffic

Oh that’s helpful!

I’ll give it another shot

Thanks!!

@bunya Good luck! Let us know how it goes

Also this thread is basically an encyclopedia now

Love it

haha right??

Should make a wiki or something

Quick question - anyone want to do an accountability thread?

Like weekly check-ins?

@bunya OMG YES

Would love that!

We should start one

Much better than doing this alone

Agreed!

I’ll start a thread next week

Quick question - what day works for everyone?

@bunya Monday mornings are good for planning

Or Sundays for weekly review vibes

Either works for me

Monday morning works!

I’ll put something together

Thanks for the idea!!

Alright I’m officially done lol

This thread has been my lifeline

Thank you everyone for being so open and helpful

Quick question - what’s one thing ur excited about for next month?

@bunya For me: launching a new niche I’ve been working on

Hopefully it goes well!

What’s ur thing??

Testing out some new content angles and maybe YouTube

Scary but exciting!!

Thanks for everything in this thread :folded_hands:

@bunya You got this!!

This community is the best

Quick question - should we do an intro thread for new members?

Would help people connect better

That’s a great idea!

Maybe the mods can set something up

Quick question - do we have mods here or is it self-organized?

@bunya Self organized as far as I can tell

But that’s part of the charm

We just make things happen ourselves!

Love that!

Alright I’m in for helping start some threads

Quick question - anyone else want to help mod stuff?

@bunya I’d be down!

Could help with introduction threads

And maybe weekly discussion topics

Great!! Let’s connect outside the thread

I’ll DM u

Quick question - what’s ur timezone?

@bunya EST

U?

EST here too!

Small world

Quick question - u free this weekend to plan stuff?

@bunya Weekend is tricky but weeknight works

Let’s do a quick call this week?

Sounds good!

I’ll DM with times

Quick question - 30 mins enough?

@bunya Perfect

See u then!

This community keeps getting better

Agreed!

Thanks for everything :raising_hands:

Quick update: I applied to Parenting Simply!

Based on this thread’s info, their rates seem solid

Will report back :bullseye:

@bunya Great choice!

Let us know how it goes

Will do!

Quick question - should I prep any content before getting approved, or just wait?

@bunya I’d prep lightly - maybe outline some post ideas

But don’t overdo it before ur in

Just in case things don’t work out

Good point!

I’ll chill and wait

Thanks!!

GUYS. I got approved!! :tada:

First step done!

Now the real work begins…

Quick question - what’s the 1st thing I should do after getting affiliate approval?

@bunya Congrats!! :raising_hands:

First thing: grab all their promo materials + read the FAQ

Then map out your first 3 content pieces

Don’t overthink - just start creating!

This is super helpful!

I’ll do exactly that

Thanks!!

Quick update from me:

Got my first lead through Parenting Simply! It’s not a sale but it’s something!

Quick question - does anyone else track their conversion rate? I feel like I’m doing terrible lol

@bunya Congrats on the lead!! :tada:

First steps are huge

Conversion rates vary wildly - don’t compare urself to others

Just focus on improving over time

Thanks! Needed to hear that

It’s just hard when u see other people killing it

Quick question - what’s a normal conversion rate for affiliate stuff?

@bunya I’d say 1-3% is pretty standard for sales

But it really depends on:

  • Niche
  • Traffic quality
  • How ur promoting

Some offers convert way better than others

Okay that’s actually reassuring!

My rate is somewhere in there I think

Thanks!!

Alright real talk:

This thread started as a simple question about commission rates

Now I’ve learned about:

  • Commissions/cookies
  • Content strategies
  • Email marketing
  • Negotiation
  • Community building

That’s wild to think about

Quick question - anyone else have stories like this?

@bunya Same!! I learned so much here

Started as a lurker, now I’m helping newbies myself

Full circle moment

That’s awesome!

I want to get to that point too

Quick question - what’s been ur biggest learning?

@bunya For me: be patient + consistent

The money follows the work

Just have to trust the process

Such good advice

I’m always looking for shortcuts but there aren’t any

Thanks for everything in this thread!

Alright I’m officially done for real this time

This thread is legendary

Thanks to everyone who contributed!

Quick question - anyone else want to connect? Always down to meet other affiliate marketers

This is exactly what I needed! Thanks so much for sharing all these details. Quick question - do you know if they have any specific requirements for getting approved, like minimum traffic or audience size? I’m still building my platform but really interested in this niche. Also always cool to meet other people just starting out! :bullseye:

@bunya Real talk: most programs don’t publish exact thresholds. Expect you need a real platform (blog/YouTube/email list), clear FTC disclosure, and some traffic. If they require numbers, aim for ~1k visits/mo with decent engagement. Apply and ask for specifics if rejected. Also check other programs via BizzOffers for transparent terms.
