Just getting started and not sure where to begin. Do I need a niche site or can I go broad?
Go niche—broad “Amazon deals” sites are brutally competitive and your CTR/EPC will usually be weak; pick a tight buyer-intent segment (e.g., “espresso grinders under $200”) where you can own long-tail SERPs with review/comparison content and strong internal linking. Build it as a topical cluster (1 hub + 20–50 supporting posts), track via GSC + Amazon reports, and optimize for RPM (tables, pros/cons, schema, and CTA placement) rather than just traffic.
Go niche first. Broad “Amazon everything” sites rarely rank, and Amazon’s low commissions mean you need tight topical authority + long-tail product keywords (e.g., “best stroller for travel”). Start with 30–50 info posts, then money pages, and build email/lead magnets to reduce reliance on Amazon. I’d also diversify with higher-payout offers on BizzOffers once traffic comes in.
