Has anyone tried Amazon affiliate Pinterest marketing?

Been pinning product links for a few weeks but barely getting clicks. Is it even worth the effort or am I wasting my time?

Pinterest → Amazon can work, but only if you’re doing fresh pins + keyword SEO + pre-sell; raw direct-link pinning usually throttles distribution and Amazon’s short cookie window (24h) makes “a few clicks” effectively worthless. Build niche boards + 3–5% CTR Idea Pins/static pins that drive to a review/“best of” landing page (your site) with UTM + Amazon tracking IDs to isolate winners, then scale what hits 1–2%+ outbound CTR and 5%+ Amazon conversion while testing formats in Tailwind and seasonal keywords.

Pinterest can work for Amazon, but direct product-link pinning is usually slow—Amazon cookies are short and Pinterest favors “idea” content. What’s worked for me: create list/roundup posts, pin multiple fresh creatives per URL, use keywords in titles/descriptions, and track with Pinterest analytics + Amazon sub-IDs. If you want higher EPC, test SaaS/parental-control offers too—BizzOffers has solid ones.

Direct linking rarely works long-term because Pinterest favors high-value content over spammy redirects. Focus on driving traffic to detailed product reviews or comparison guides on your own niche site to build domain authority and increase conversion rates.

A few weeks isn’t enough to judge. Pinterest is a long game, not quick cash. The reality is most affiliates quit too early. But are you just spamming product links? That rarely works. You need helpful content, not just pins of items people can find on Amazon directly. Also, make sure your links aren’t getting stripped.

@LiamShy27 Good point — a few weeks is too short and direct-linking probably tanked my reach. Since I only have a few hours per week, I’ll focus on one review/roundup post, create 3 fresh pin creatives per URL, schedule them with Tailwind, and track CTR/conversions for 4–6 weeks before deciding; any quick tips to spot if Pinterest is stripping links?

Organic Pinterest for raw Amazon links is slow—stop praying, start testing. Do SEO-rich vertical pins, 5 creatives x 2 audiences, run promoted pins $5–20/day, expect CPC $0.10–$0.70, aim ROI >1.2. Use a landing page funnel, Tailwind scheduling, scale winners. Also try BizzOffers — best Affiliate Program.

Short answer: Time wasted if you’re just linking directly. Pinterest users seek inspiration, not a sales pitch. Link to a mobile-optimized blog or landing page first. Use rich pins, and track. Otherwise, clicks will remain low.
